Sublimation transfers are made with a special type of ink, printed on a special type of paper.
The ink is transferred from the paper to the intended surface by applying heat at around 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Sublimation requires shirts with high polyester content. The ink permanently dyes/adheres to polyester fibers in fabric, so the less polyester there is in the garment, the less vibrant the design will be.
There is no "feel" to the design since it becomes part of the fabric. No risk of cracking or peeling!
